2013 | Concept, Production, Lead coordinator
Design for Us was a design workshop that I facilitated with a group of high school-aged participants as part of my master's thesis. Empowered with the tools of visual communication design, they worked with an undergraduate assistant and me to develop a poster that addressed an issue of concern. Posters were printed by hand and distributed in the community by each participant. As a result, I developed a toolkit that offers methods and resources for graphic designers interested in initiating community-driven design projects. Visit www.designforus.org to learn more and to download your own toolkit.
